# Add teammates and enable connectors

As a company admin, you can give an eligible colleague their own copilot. Open **Settings → Teammates** to see available people and the seats already assigned.

## Assign a copilot


1. Under **Assign a teammate**, find the colleague and choose **Assign a copilot**.
2. Review the confirmation. Assigning reserves one seat and starts setting up their isolated copilot.
3. Return to **Your teammates** to check the seat and setup status. If setup fails, use **Retry setup** on their card.

Only eligible members of the same Core company appear in this list. If a colleague is missing, check their Core account and ask Fr8Labs support for help.

## Enable access person by person

A new non-admin teammate starts with **no connectors**. After they sign in, find their card under **Your teammates** and switch on the connectors they need, one person at a time. You can switch on Analytics, Freight actions, Mail and Accounting when they are in the company plan and the switch is available. Accounting uses a finance-level grant and may still need further setup. Company admins have the in-plan connectors by role.

Before a teammate's first sign-in, their card may say **Not set up yet** because their connector identity has not been linked.

Switches take effect from the teammate's next connector call. A connector outside your company's plan cannot be switched on. If a switch is read-only or a connector still shows unavailable, use the reason on the card or ask Fr8Labs support.

> **Approval still belongs to the person taking the action.** Enabling Freight actions or Accounting allows proposals; each write still waits for that person to approve its exact change.
