Company Permission Management

Overview

Company Permission Management in Fr8labs allows administrators to control what users can see and do within the platform. Permissions are assigned to roles, and roles are then assigned to users, ensuring each team member has access appropriate to their responsibilities.

Using permissions correctly helps:

  • Protect sensitive financial and operational data

  • Reduce errors by limiting unauthorized actions

  • Align system access with real-world job roles

  • Improve compliance and audit readiness

How Permissions Work

  • Permissions are grouped by roles created in Role Management (Accounting, Sales, Operations, Master Data, etc.)

  • Each permission controls access to a page, action, or data capability

  • A role can have multiple permissions

  • Users inherit permissions from their assigned role(s)

Permission Categories & Descriptions

See User Permission Reference for the permission catalog and exceptions, including permissions whose effect is to restrict a capability. Use Role Management when assigning permissions to roles. Check module availability as well as the user’s role when a feature is missing.
