Steps to Insure Cargo in the Customer Portal

Step 1: Fill Up

  • Go to the Insure Your Cargo page in the Customer Portal.

  • Fill in the required fields, including: • Cargo details • Commodity type • Cargo value

  • Once all fields are completed, click Next: Confirmation.


Step 2: Submit & Preview

  • Review the completed details of your insurance request.

  • The insurance cost will be displayed clearly at the bottom of the page under Insurance Cost.

  • If the information is correct, click Buy Insurance to proceed.


Step 3: Purchase Confirmed

  • You will be notified that your Cargo Insurance policy has been successfully purchased.

  • The Insurance Policy and Certificate of Insurance (COI) will be emailed to both the shipper and the freight forwarder.

  • You can also click View Insurance Policy Details in the portal to review your policy or to start a claim.

  • Under View Policy Details, access the specifics of your insurance policy.

  • Click Claim Insurance to be redirected to the claim process page.

  • Follow the instructions provided, filling out required information and uploading supporting documents.
