Hard refresh / browser refresh - more than Clear Cache & Reload

What it does

  • This guide clears your browser’s cookies of Fr8Labs and reloads the system fresh.

  • It is different from the normal browser refresh and our button for clear cache and reload — it forces the system to fetch the newest version of templates, updates, or configurations.

  • Sometimes regular clear cache and reload doesn't work due to glitches in the browser / browser settings. At this point, a hard refresh is required. One way to tell if it's required is, if you have tried regular clear cache and reload and things don't work, but they work in incognito window.

When to use it

  • After system maintenance or updates (usually done outside office hours).

  • When you notice screens not updating properly, data missing, or layouts not reflecting the latest setup.

  • If Customer Success or Support instructs you to use it while troubleshooting.
