# Install the AI Console as an app

You can install your **AI Console** on your computer, phone or tablet. It opens in its own window or from a Home Screen icon, so your company's copilot is easy to reach.

## Before you start

Sign in to your AI Console first. Open it from the sparkle chat icon in **Core FMS**, or go to your company's address: `https://<company>-ai.fr8labs.app`. If you need help, see [Sign in to your AI Console](https://docs.fr8labs.co/s/home/doc/sign-in-to-your-ai-console-hekYc0OdFL).

Install from the **AI Console page** after sign-in, not from Core FMS. Each person installs it on their own device.

## On a computer

In **Chrome** or **Microsoft Edge** on Windows or Mac, open your company's AI Console and sign in. Then:

* **Chrome:** Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (a monitor with a down arrow), then choose **Install**. You can also open the **⋮** menu and choose **Cast, save and share → Install page as app → Install**.
* **Microsoft Edge:** Open the **⋯** menu and choose **Apps → Install this site as an app**.

The AI Console opens in its own window. You can find it in the Windows Start menu or your Mac's Applications or Launchpad, and pin it to the taskbar or Dock.

## On Android

In **Chrome**, open your company's AI Console and sign in. Tap **⋮ → Add to Home screen → Install**. Older versions may say **Install app**.

## On iPhone or iPad

Open your company's AI Console in **Safari** and sign in. Tap **Share → Add to Home Screen → Add**.

On iOS 16.4 or later, you can also use Chrome's share menu to add it to your Home Screen. On older iOS versions, use Safari.

## Using the app

Open the app to go straight to your company's AI Console. If your sign-in has expired, it takes you through sign-in again. Updates arrive automatically; there is nothing to reinstall.

## Remove the app

* **Chrome on a computer:** Open the installed app, then choose **⋮ → Uninstall**.
* **Android:** Long-press the app icon, then choose **Uninstall** or **Remove**.
* **iPhone or iPad:** Long-press the app icon, then choose **Remove App → Delete from Home Screen**.

Removing the app does not delete anything in your AI Console.
