Kanban view of deals

Kanban View of Deals

Overview

The Kanban View of Deals is a workflow management tool within the Fr8Labs CRM module that visually organizes all your deals in a board-style format. Each deal moves through a set of stages—such as Lead, Qualification, Quotation Sent, Negotiation, and Closed—allowing sales teams to easily track progress and identify bottlenecks.

This workflow is particularly useful for:

  • Sales teams managing multiple opportunities

  • Sales managers who need a quick overview of pipelines

  • Users who prefer visual, drag-and-drop interaction instead of table lists

  • Weekly sales pipeline review meetings

  • Tracking deals that require follow-up or are at risk of stalling

The Kanban layout allows teams to work more efficiently by making deal movement, follow-up actions, and pipeline analysis easy and intuitive.

How It Works

The Kanban board organizes deals into columns, each representing a workflow stage in your internal sales process. Deals appear as cards within these columns.

🔑Key Components:

  • Columns → Sales stages

  • Cards → Individual deals

  • Drag-and-drop → Updates workflow stage instantly

  • Filters → Narrow down by owner, date range, customer, value

  • Deal totals → Each column shows total deals + total value

  • Color indicators → Highlight stale or overdue deals (if enabled)

It works using the following core principles:

Pipeline stage

Deals automatically appear in the stage that matches their current CRM status.

Cards

A deal card displays key information such as:

  • Pending emails

  • Partner rates (if any)

  • Quotation number

  • Deals status (i.e. overdue)
